I am having a few problems, FIRST.. trying to reset my timing, and the book says that i should have a spout ( that I;m supposed to unplug ) I can not find it.. or anythiing that even looks like that...Where would it be located...
and if anyone has a picture of it let me know... SECOND... i have noticed as i'm driving, my computer does alot of clicking... is this normal.. it does it once or twice, and then there are times when it clicks like crazy.... WHAT WOULD THAT BE.... I hope that someone on here can help me figure this stuff out..
thank you for your time, and god bless.....

The clicking is the relay. There may be two behind the kick panel on the passenger side. One for ECM power, and the other for fuel pump power. They should not be clicking. Sounds as if you have a loose ground or power connection. Check that the connectors are seated tightly on the relay. Get a EVTM manual from Ebay or wherever, and it will show you all the connections for your electric and vacuum, and how all switches work. Electric Vacuum Trouble Manual. Worth its weight as an asset.

On an 86, look around the battery area for the spout connector.:)shady

On '85 it is a round wiring type connector near the distributor. It is nothing like the regular spout connector. I'm not sure about '86.
