I'm FattCracker.. I got the name by accident.. I was a Bouncer in a Gentlemen's Club in Atlanta.. I had to Play Cue ball with a Fella One Night... One of the Black Guys watching the Festivities said " Damn, if I get caught up in here some night, Please don't let that Fat Cracker hit me that hard."...
I bought me a
1985 Ranger XLT 4x4
2.9L 4ALD
for a $1000 with a Broke Transmission
I think I'm gonna put a 5 speed in it FIRST.. Then a Little later When Finances will allow, a Mild 70's 302..

I saw where some of You've done this several times as to Trans Swap.. If you've any Hints Clues or Easter Eggs about the Motor swap.. I'd be so Thankful, I'd comb my hair with a fist full of Firecrackers.

There's a whole forum section about engine swaps. I haven't done that yet.
