heavy duty back plate

How can i know what i need between standard and heavy duty rear back plate?
my truck is a 2006 b4000 manuel 4x4 with 10'' brake...Some one can help me?

Which backing plate are you talking about Chief? The one behind the drum?

I didn't realize there were two versions. The heavy duty would be an upgrade. I am seriously doubting Ford would make them not interchangeable.

Are both the std and HD plates speced for the 10" brakes?

Otherwise it could be the bigger (or HD) brakes get the bigger (or HD) backing plate and the smaller brakes got the standard plate.
