The headlights on my 93 Ranger are cutting out. Does it on both high and low beam, so I don't think it's the switch on the column. I've wiggled the headlight switch and it doesn't seem to make a difference, but it usually stops after a few seconds (say about 10). Could it be the headlight switch? Or is there something else I might be missing. I'm not loosing my dash lights nor my park lights, just the headlights.

either a breaker relay tripping, they self reset. Or the multifuction/dimmer switch going bad.

Is that the headlight relay?

Also, one thing I didn't think to add was that they cut out and back on....like they are flashing. Might go out for several second or on and off a couple fo times a second.

And happens on high and low beam,

It should have a 20 amp circuit breaker in it. A bad Dimmer switch will do that also. it shorts out and overloads the Circuit tripping the breaker. I have seen non OEM headlights like the bluestars trip them sometimes.
