I'm trying to replace my 30 yr old oem headlights . My truck has on solid clip that locks two all threads on back of light on one side and a one on the other side.
These clips are about 4 inches long all the after market lights I'm finding only have one all thread with adjuster on one side and a single all thread on the opposite. The lights I have have 3 all threads per light.

Are you trying to use aftermarket light housings or will factory style be fine?

I have changed my light housings with factory style and had no issues on my '94. They are the same housings as you have.

If you have a link to what you are looking at it will be easier for us to know if they will work or not.

The reason for three points of adjustment is to allow in, towards the rear, and out, towards the front, adjustment to get he lights to evenly align with the grill and light surrounds and still have up/down and side to side adjustments. Seeing what you want to install will help us a lot.

Well I tried after market but I don't know if it will lock to core support with only having two pins I have one after market I'll get pics of the oem set up

This is what you are finding?

If so then they will work. The bumper on the bottom will ride on the outside of the core support. Yes you will loose one anchor point but they will work.

I don't guess it will allow me to post pictures?

Because you just signed up you may experience issues posting photos right away, but this is a guess.

yes . So the bottom dosent have to be locked in ? To the solid bar that snaps to core support ?

Nope. It does help with their stability over bumps, you may experience the light bouncing a little over hard bumps.

Also there is no hole for the amber light that is in the oem headlight set

That is because they are two separate pieces. That turn/marker light is it's own piece. Some sets seem to be attached others they are separate. I just grabbed a pic off of ebay that happened to just be the headlight itself.

Now the lights that have a single bulb for the directional and marker will not be correct for your truck. There are two separate bulbs in the factory marker light housings. 1 single filament for turn signal and I believe a 194 bulb for the marker light.

I have 3 light plugs . One is the turn signal on corner of truck totally separate from headlights . Then headlight assembly has two lights one amber that is built into the head light and then the hi low bulb.

I have an aftermarket one here but that means I have no where to put the amber

OK lets double check the year of your truck, This is a 1995, correct?

'95 did not come from the factory with that style light and why I'm double checking.

It's weird the truck has a block heater battery box heater and I'm running into issues when I get parts for it there not right. The guy at auto parts store seems to think that I got a truck that put together with different parts from factory.
