Half rate tach and 223/224 Continuous

It's amazing what having the right tool can do for you. Rented an O2 socket from Advance and got the sensor swapped out in the office parking lot in about ten minutes. Pass codes across the board now. An $800 truck with $90 in repairs that runs great makes me very happy. Thanks again to all!

nice. i was able to get my o2 out with an open end wrench fairly easily too. seems like most people make some of these jobs out to be harder than they are. but being in california helps :D

Thanks for the diagnostic work fastpackr, I used that line of thought on my 93 Mustang, ended up being a $20 junkyard ICM to fix the problem. :yahoo:

Glad you got it sorted. Always makes me happy when the forum info can help people solve problems down the road too. My junkyard module is still running great. The only further repair I've had to do is replacing a failed DPFE. Finally got the updated version from the dealer. Hopefully it's more reliable than the original metal type. I've had three of those fail - tired of dealing with them.
