I have a 94 Ranger, and I was wondering if I could find a way to put the speedometer where the Tach is, and put the Tach, where the speedometer.

I'm trying to style it like a Ford GT

Nope, not without extensive cutting and pasting. The tach plugs into special sockets embedded into the flex circuit on the back of the instrument cluster. The speedometer is mechanical and has the cable entering the instrument cavity through a small hole. And then there is the problem with illumination, also mounted in embedded sockets, and one of two large electrical connectors which plugs into the cluster directly behind the tach.

Swapping positions would be a real FCCF.

First, you need a marker. Put a black dot on the tip of your nose. Sit in the driver's seat and consentrate on that dot until you go cross-eyed. Once this happens, look at the dash and your gauges should be swapped!
