I like it. That dual carb setup still looks wicked awesome. I think this has become one of my other favorite builds here on TRS.

i'll be making up a fresh one.the wires from the gt6 are pretty brittle,and i think i can do better than lucas on laying out the system.i'll be using the original guages,though.just need to find a tach.the car didn't have one when i got it.

ya,except that theres a hole in the dash for it.
a replacement tach is $400,and all i need is the face to match the rest of the guages.the guts will need to be replaced with an electronic one(gt6 tach is cable drive)

Finding a tach for a 12 could be an interesting exercise in futility, unless you want to take a tach for a six or eight and redo the face.

if i can find a gt6 tach face then i can adapt any v8 tach to turn the dial.pulse modulating circuitry is pretty easy to make,but getting it to look right,especially with all the other matching guages surrounding it is the hard part.

ok......i did the math.

tank is bigger than i thought.it holds 15.9us gallons,or 60 litres.

You could build some cool mirror based system for seeing around them in front of the car. That would be badass!
