here's sorta how the carb links are supposed to look.still have to tie in to the pedal and adjust the lengths,but it's shaping up.

i also did a bit more on the shifter.the one on the left is an f-series one just for comparison.

any reason you didn't just run a single cable from one to the other? that linkage looks difficult and confusing to me lol

to hide it under the hood I'm sure.

Also I just want to mention that is the most awesome place for an dizzy I have ever seen

if you look back at how the hood fits,the carbs stick through two seperate holes.if i ran a link between the carbs i wouldn't be able to open the hood.so,like 3.0 said,it's to keep it under the hood.plus,solid mechanical linkages look old school.to me,that's cool.

y'know,that distributer was a big headache to me when i was first trying to figure out the intake.i actually thought of running two six cylinder distributers,one off the front end of each cam.it would have looked cool,but been a whole whack more work.

is that the stock location? It would look good with some red cables when the car is all painted.

That's why I have shocks with red anodized end caps, and why my shifter is going to be a red anodized pistol grip :icon_thumby:
