My credo
Work when necessary
New to the forum, old to Rangers.

I just got my first true vehicle. A co-worker of mine and I were talking about Rangers and he mentioned he had one, but it got a little worse for wear and a guy was coming soon to take it for scrap. Long story short, scrap guy didn't get it - I did, for $25.

As can be expected for such money, it needs work, but at $100 a week, I can't afford much else, and I'm not afraid of welding and fab work. :icon_welder:

Glad to be here!

Welcome! Please post a pic. I'm interested to see what a $25 Ranger looks like.

Sorry, haven't been on in a while.

The frame is flaky, the rockers are kinda bad, the arches are shot all around (less on the pass. side) the floors are solid, and the bed sail panels are pretty bad. The floors are solid, power steering is good, and I fixed a minor vacuum leak so it runs like a champ now, with 4x4 intact. Not like I want it, but it works!

The Ford van in the back is what's donating the 5.8 engine, maybe the automatic too.
