Full Width SAS on '90 Danger the 4th

We have 1 stop sign and i see more horse and buggies then cars on my road. Wouldnt trade it for anything even if it is a 1 1/2 hr drive to the city for work

I finally dug into my Ranger. It hasn’t been touched really since my last wheelin’ trip in March where I broke an axle shaft.

First I had to fix my car. The rear wheel bearings were bad and it needed brakes all the way around. Especially caliper brackets. The salt took its toll on those. So I have been driving the dually for the last 6 days. I miss daily driving an 8lug truck. At 100 miles a day though, it was hurting the wallet.

Showing off this air lift again

Rally Car??

Of course I had to admire the dually for a minute after I finished the car. I pulled the cap off and I traded Plum's dad wheels and tires. No more steelies.

Here is a filtered one

Ok, now to the Ranger

There is mud everywhere. Ugh I hate mud haha. But that’s what I get for playing in the mud for hours and hours without an axle shaft.

I did end up bending my knuckle. It is bent at the top ball joint and the bottom snap ring is gone since the groove no longer protrudes though the knuckle. I am going to call around today to see what I can find. What sucks is that a friend offered me a complete FW D44 in Feb for $80. The housing was shot and bent, but the guts and knuckles were good. I passed on it because I didn’t have the time to go get it. That is coming back to haunt me now lol.

Did I mention I hate mud?

Another picture of the knuckle. I am probably just going to weld it and run it for the June trip.

Yummy!

Then I pounded the rest of the broken shaft into the carrier so I could pull the carrier and remove it

I was hoping it would be all twisted and cool looking, but it’s not. It sheared quite nicely.

Next to the newer shaft

Bought an 06 f150 for 13g had it paid down to 8g with 10 months then got fed up with it. Had to do the front brakes (even though they were supposedly done when i bought it) did the rear brakes on it. Alternator, starter, battery. Then it started burning 4litres of coolant a week. Got pissed off and dumped it for 4g and bought my 1991 f350 cclv for 6g. Had to refinanced my loan to do that which brought it back up to 10g. Then i bought a house and cant make 5-600 payments anymore to get it paid off quick.

Single stupidest thing i ever did was buy that f150. When i went to trade it in on my f350 (keep on mind its a 91) they wanted to give me $800 for the 2006 f150

You should prolly update your signature then :thefinger:

Haha. Sounds like my town. We have one light and maybe 3 stop signs. The population is 205. I love it. We have a lot of buggy traffic too. Some of those amish guys are hilarious. One time they asked me if I wanted to race at a stop sign.

You should prolly update your signature then :thefinger:

Yeah! Ranger on 38.5s? wtf. We want a thread

Its nothing special. I actually have 2 new rangers but the one isnt gonna be touched until the fall. The one on 38.5" boggers isnt anything special i bought it for $600 for the tires to go on my sammi and the rims to go onto my gfs ranger but then my sammi ate the injectors and had a binch of small shit go.wrong with it so i made the ranger more "wheelable" so i can have something to wheel on our may 24 trip.

Traded rims and tires off my black ranger for the tube bed. 38.5x11 boggers race cut out back half cut in the front. So far i cant believe the 7.5 is alive still. I ran it for one trip open after having it a week (didnt check anything) got homr went to weld it and it was bone dry no oil... welded it up filled it with oil we'll see how much longer it lives lol

Now there is a fun truck!

Lol yup. Ive been trying to break somthing and it just cant.... i dunno why not.. by all right it should be lol. Ive got a few pics on my facebook water over the hood. And trying to climb a ledge that just was way too tall for it. Basicly tried ramming a 2.5ft wall trying to pop up on top of it.

Didnt work

No build thread because theres no build. Lol its a cheap beat the hell outta it truck till something breaks. Then there might be a thread after that

I got some funny pics of my 10 month old son last week too.
