Fueul pump brands that don't suck!?!?!


Bosch pump here working great.

I did have an Airtex/Wells pump and it stranded me up in the mountains.
 
I do miss the days of engine mounted mechanical pumps that only cost $30.
(yes, im THAT old)
 

I really need to write a tech article on this one.

Under $40, and allows you delete the frame pump.
 
Just ordered a bosch, we shall see. I should cut me an access hole...
 
that would be hard to do without damaging something. I do pull the bed on a truck when I replace one rather than drop the tank.

I have found that the fuel pump in the B2 can be removed without even taking the skid plate out.

Removing the front skid plate bolts lets it hang enough that you can get the tank strap bolts out with a wrench, and that lets the tank hang down enough that the pump can be removed over the axle.
