hey guys im hoping you can help me here
i havea 1987 f150 with the inline 4.9 in it i replaced the clutch bracket and it sat for a few days now she wont start. it will start if i use starter fluid so i dont think its getting fuel what should i check?

I just had a fuel issue with my 88. It ended up being something with the selector valve on the frame rail. I just took it apart and put it back together and it worked. I was getting fuel into the valve but nothing coming out.

if its running on starting fluid it has to be getting some spark.

I would check fuel pressure first if it is running on starting fluid.
