I got a 2000 ford explorer 5.0 swapping into a 2004 ford ranger 4.0 now the quick disconnects are both female ends, would it hurt if i added another filter for 2 filters instead of 1 or would that be 2 much of a restriction or is there a pipe thats male on both ends and they just snap into place on both sides or last option is to take enough fuel like from the explorer to the rangers fuel filter and attach it to that fuel filter so 4.0 in to 5.0 out?

2 filters has been done before I think...
I'd just make the lines I needed. Most (if not all) of the connectors are available at your local parts store. The fuel line is too. Ask for nylon fuel line. It comes in a couple sizes.

Aren't those both return-less systems? So only one line from filter to rail, right?

If you really wanted be spendy you could use AN stuff like I did, lol

If it is a carb 5.0 I can also corroborate 2 filters does no damage to the flow.. my '48 had 3 when I was trying to get past the ethanol acceptance stage.

I was able to figure out a solution thanks yall now another problem arrised after the swap was completed
