My son and I are trying to make his 85 Ranger dependable. Today we were removing the coil spring tower that had rotted out only to find the frame was rotted out too. I have the new coil mount. Where can I find frame repair sections?

Interesting website. Didn't know they made so many different repair pieces.1998-2006 Ranger Archives - autorust.com

Safe T Cap is the big one I know of, but they don't make caps for the front section. I think it's because there are too many bends and curves, ect.
If you are a good welder you should be able to fab some patches and fish plates out of 10ga.
I used a Lincoln WeldPak 120v welder with .035 flux core wire to repair my green 00 RangerNot sure my Miller 141 will do the job but I know some folks with 220v welder.
Don't worry, the frames are barely thicker than sheetmetal. You do not want much heat or you will burn through. Not sure my Miller 141 will do the job but I know some folks with 220v welder.

Within the capabilities of most 120v welders really. My wire feed Lincoln WeldPak with .035 flux core is rated for 1/4” plate. I will say that it will do it, but it’s not particularly happy about it. 1/8”, which is pretty much what our frames are, is just fine with it.Frame on my 96 is close enough to 1/8"..
Either way.. well within the capabilities of a mig that size.
