building this for a summer beach runner.i love the short w/b of the b2,but wanted something a little more updated(and shorter-this is 88"w/b).took a 96 5.0 exp and sawzalled it in half,ditched about 2' from the middle,welded her back together(oh-and lost the top)just to make things interesting the rear half of the frame is another front half so i've got irs and rear steer(it can turn around in almost it's own length.)still got some body and interior work to do,but she runs and drives good

'nother view.note the fancy gas tank in the first view-i'm building a custom one from alum as there isn't anything that will fit the exp engine bay in the back.

I'd like some pics of the interior. By interior, i mean it looks like you havent built a rear floor yet and i'd like to see the "IRS" and 4wheel steer setup.

ok....rear floor is there,i just had to cut the fenderwells to clear the upper susp arms and shock mounts.steering isn't finished yet (just locked in straight ahead)but will use a worm drive mounted to the stock rack unit driven by an electric motor.will show build pics of that as it goes,and take more pics tomorrow.

Look at the pic. You can see half of the front suspension in the rear. You can see the torsion bars, the "front" sway bar, The "front" shock towers.

I know its there from the pic, I just want to see it work!

btw-the ambulance is gone(was just a donor of a 460)second ranger(xcab)is replacing standard cab on blue ranger, but also have toyota town ace van(td,4x4,all the goodies),a 70 gt6,and three boats.i may have forgotten something,it gets a little confusing around here sometimes.find myself walking in circles sometimes trying to remember what i was working on.

almost forgot....'75 kawasaki 75(fun on the beach and for the kids too..if you can get me off of it)88 yamaha tzr250(bought new in 88)and in the boneyard the stocker 90 b2(top chopped off,otherwise nothing done)61 f100(waiting....)and 97 bmw 328i-will probably part that one out. ps-we need a guy with a sawzall smiley.
