Has anyone ever gotten a Ford Racing Crate Motor and put it in a BII or other RBV? I was looking at M-6007-X302B*, a 302 with about 345 hp, or even better the M-6007-Z363RT*, which has a displacement of 363 and about 500 hp. If i had the money and time, i would find a way to do it, but for now i want to know if anyone has ever done it, it sounds worthwhile. :headbang:

The M-6007-X302B* is what is in my Ranger.....though I think the part # was dif back then.

So that is a stroked 351W… ?

I know there is no replacement for cubic inches and horse power but when is too much too much ?

It's actually a bored/stroked 302 block. Block has been redesigned for the increased size. Bore of 4.125 and stroke of 3.40".

All I read, the first time, was 362 CI, I thought the 302 went to 347, so I was just intersted how you got there.

Luck with your choice.

Well anything can be done - It just takes that magic word $MONEY$ and time and how much of it people have these days is the big question lol ! I run a 351-w in my B2 and with a few mods has all the power I could ever need , But the only problem I've had with it is cooling it enough as it's a pertty big motor for a small space. So the question is how much money do you want to spend ? I would just stick with a simple 302.
