High 20's, like 26-29 mpg. No comment on the heavy foot.

I missed the “high” part. Those numbers sound much better.

He said high 20's. I don't drive my wife's escape much but she is right there too... high 20's. She has a heavy foot and a driving record to prove it. That is also with a mix of city and highway... also a bunch of traffic... it is Chicago after all.

My wife had 3 or 4 Escapes... High 20’s is normal for an Escape with an aggressive driver.

Dang, and here I feel fancy getting my wife a "new" '04 Camry the other day... I don't like payments, and it was in budget...

If it was in the budget and I felt like a payment I'd thought about an escape, but this year has been tough on the ol bank account...
