im getting ready to tune my 2.9 up want to buy the best plugs for this?
your opinion thanks

Motorcraft coppers. Anything else will cause problems, or wear out lot faster than it should.

I always go with Motorcraft plugs, but why do you say coppers only?

I'd hazard a guess that it's because that's what the engine is designed to use.

weird, my 90 2.9l 4x4 book recommends motorcraft platinum...

TFI systems have a tendency to trash platinum plugs.
