For those of you with an Explorer full length console...

That was my first thought, but this picture is of it still in an Explorer, and the handle would be in the way of the cupholder... that's why I'm confused

its for tissues. when you pop the lid, theres a coin holder that pops out and reveals the spot to put a box of tissues.

Yeah, it's pretty much useless. It doesn't hold very many.

That's probably one of the dumbest design features I've ever seen... I don't recall ever needing tissues while driving so badly that I wished I had a built in dispenser.
