Give 'yer balls a tug. Fight me.
They made the ranger massive, then realized they needed a ranger to replace the ranger they made too big so they made a focus with a bed... At least when the ranger was a ranger it was a truck! Hell even the courier was more truck than that.

Well atleast they didnt put the ranger name on this maverick thing

Take that crap to Australia. They get boners for goofy car/truck hybrids over there.

Could they get the exhaust a little bit lower? I like to hear it hit when I drive over speed bumps and dimes.

What did y'all expect? It's basically a Transit van with a bed. Look around, those little transit vans are everywhere. Makes sense to me. People asked for something smaller and Ford is delivering. So what it's fwd, the platform has awd potential, and is very capable of doing work. Times have changed, before a fwd truck would not be strong enough to work, but these things aren't doing THAT kind of work. It's for the Subaru Baja ppl, or the Volkswagen ppl who want a truck too. Be Patient fellas, I'm sure ford will make a "off road" variant or 20.

I'm kind of with 850 on this thing. It was never meant to appeal to us. Seems more like a fleet vehicle for doing deliveries, not an off road toy. Probably a very practical light truck for the right market. Sort of an Americanized bongo truck.

I agree. Not every vehicle, actually, very few vehicles are designed for us. But that's ok. Everyone has different tastes. We shouldn't complain that the Mustang doesn't have enough suspension travel to play at Moab.

I just watched a homesteader restore his VW Caddie pickup.
This would be perfect for him.

The rear suspension setup says a lot about where it sits on the fleet vehicle/passenger vehicle spectrum. Definitely not marketed at any of us.

& its still pretty huge looking lol. Id bet its quite a bit larger than the ranger sized ranger they just replaced.
