Hey guys,

Pretty well into my '86 V8 swap with the engine almost ready for the machine shop and fuel lines getting run as we speak. I've run into a problem here that im curious to know if any of you with a V8 swap ranger have encountered. Im sticking with my manual transmission (TK5, i know it'll get shredded by the higher outputs but thats something im prepared to address later on). My predicament is this: The TK5 has the integrated release bearing with the quick release, I will be converting to an external hydraulic slave cylinder matched to a 302 bellhousing. The original release bearing has the clutch hydraulic line crimped onto it. Is there any clutch master cylinder that i can use instead that uses a brake line fitting to connect the bearing to the master cylinder? (Novak Conversions caught my eye for their external slaves that use a 7/16 brake fitting). I'd prefer something like this because it makes bleeding and removal a sinch. Any comments or wisdom to impart?
