just bought a 97 ranger 4.0l xlt 4x4 with a 4.5" lift and 33" swamper tires. Its got a few problems and could use a new bench seat but I should have it good as new by the end of the week. I'll post pics this afternoon

Cool. Is it an auto or manual? How many miles? How much did you pay?

I bet the front hubs are blown. You will be wanting to swap to manual hubs ASAP.

I also have some seats that you might be interested in. PM me.

its got 107k miles I paid 1600 for it, I'm switching to manual hubs in about a week. It got one of the rear windshield sections shot out with a bb gun. Needs exhaust holes welded and has a hard time being put into park. I got enough cash to cover all those problems and then some.

is it a torque bit that holds in the center console/armrest and what size is it? oh yeah its an automatic too

It is a Torx bit that holds it in. I forget which size, but if you dont have any, get a set. Most sets come with up to T50. You will need t55 if you want to remove the bed for some reason.

Im thinking about selling those tires if anyones interested. They rub on mine.

Well, if they rub then that means you need more lift.

The truck looks real nice though, nice find.

Looks good bro, I like it. If I were you, after you're done fixing all that needs to be fixed I'd repaint your light bar and brush guard - black. Your light bar looks good, but I'd just go over it along with the brush guard so they're the same color.

nice truck, only ? i got is, is there some wrong with the bed/cab, the gap kinda looks like its doing this \ / or is it just the pic?(
