Bellhousing showed up while I was in Cali, it got mounted and trans went right in. Tomorrow will start on transmission mounts.

They worked on the F-350 while I was gone. Built a sub box and and amp mount all that fits nicely on the back panel between stock plastic interior panels.

The website is nearly complete, just need to add our build galleries and update the new shop number 928-239-8686 on the site.

Hoping to have a good month with few setbacks, get fabrication and plumbing done and have electrical laid out so can order the parts we need next month. Stay tune for lots of updates as we fab new stuff and our exhaust.

Secondary bump stops installed. We made these because how low we dropped the motor. If the hydraulics bump stops blew the beam would go into the motor.

Once the bump stop is fully compressed you can see we have a little gap before the secondary bumps, this is so they don’t interfere with the hydraulic bump stops normal operation. They are only a secondary precaution in case a hydraulic one blows on a hard bump or crash

Finally got to start the transmission mount, get those tiged custom boxes we made awhile back up underneath the truck and build the rest of the parts for the tranny mount.

Got the boxes in and fitting nicely after grinding off parts of the old radius arm mount from previous kit, after we were happy with where it was we tacked it up. Tomorrow will build the final two plates to the mount, bolt it all up then fully weld the boxes to the frame. The exhaust runs through the big dimple, we set one of the mufflers up under the truck and they are huge probably going to build two mounts per muffler.

Keep checking back this week for some new fabwork

Had a long day building the bolt on plates to the tranny crossmember. Just need to fully weld the boxes to frame tomorrow and enclose the ends of each box and the transmission crossmember is complete. No more having to remove crossmember or tilt transmission to get it out. Four bolts and mine drops straight out.

thanks guy we got them all welded in today and built two plates to cap box ends and made two small plates with dimple to keep spread on top. Will get better pictures when we pull it off tomorrow. We spent most of day running errands, got just about all the parts to complete exhaust, thats next stay tuned :icon_hornsup:

Got the front hangers built and installed, the rear hangers will most likely be built into the carrier bearing mount

Pipes are all cut and welded up install tomo, we use high temp caliper paint and we will be using header wrap on top of that.

Well we got the plunge to 1/4" any closer and our carrier bearing would be to low. It could change a tiny bit once everything is bolted in. But, we did call the driveline shop and get all the measurements we needed. We will be using an IED polyurethane center support. Here is the center support mount, we did a box setup again. Not only does it take care of its main purpose but also help with boxing the frame (we were just going to a few braces to begin with). The upper wish bone mount fits in between and the exhaust clamp is sideways to pull the back of the muffler away from the frame a bit and work as a hanger. There is a 3/16 notch in one of the plates, a 3/16 plate will be welded their and the center support will bolt to that, we decided on having it bolt just in front of the box instead of underneath the box. The 4.25" is all set up into where the box mounts in relation to where the center support and u joint will be.

Today is my dads 50th so taking a day off, we work until 830 last night and on sunday. We cut all the plate by hand with my hilti jigsaw (tend to use the plasma on bigger stuff) and the cut pieces are before any minor sanding. Took our time and they came out damn near identical.

The box we made will not work without serious mods so we will build a new one. I was given some wrong info and misinterpreted a part of that info. Was dealing with IED but then the guy finally said I should talk to someone who builds driveshafts for my type of application. I called Jess at HAD and first thing he told me to do was get angles at Static Ride Height. Well after doing everything Jess said we learned we could keep the “midship”u-joint where we wanted it with the angle and length changes through its travel.
I use to think it was the upper pockets that were mounted wrong. When we fixed the wheel base last year we had to put one trailing arm heim further out. Turns out the gmr mounts were not in same locaion, even though they welded them on it was not to bad were we couldn’t fix it with the heim. The problem we ran into was when Jess told us to cancel out the angle of trans which was 5 degrees at the pinion. We got it to 4.75 but as you can see the heim on wishbone has under a ½” in the bung. The other side is already out, so we are going to make a new wishbone after expo. It needs to be change anyways, one tube was a little longer and a bigger problem is their not on the same plane. Probably a result of twisting when not using a jig. Anyways after those headahes we decided to jump back into cab and finish that up. Not going to touch rear center support mount until we have center support (ied poly or spicer 1.5748”) and possibly driveshaft to. I like to use the HAD pillow block but Jess suggested against it for my setup, I will be using the HAD midship setup though and having them build the driveshaft.

What seats do you have? Do you like them so far? I am thinking that I am going with PRP premiere seats so that I can get them 4in taller cause I am a giant, I raced the 500 in a Corbeau baja ss, and I was not impressed

I have the PRP Comp. High Backs, they were suppose to be the Comp. Pro's the one with the removable cushion. We got mixed up in emails, but instead of him changing it we agreed on window nets. I like them a lot and his new podium seats are bitchin. They were not out when I got mine, but they wouldnt fit in my truck anyways with the current cab cage. Aaron and the lady are great people at PRP
