In that case, get the sawzall out, cut the fenders, slap a set of 31's on it and just go have fun.

You might even think about welding up the rear end (not really reccomended for the street)

.....you can do well with a spool....but you sure as fawk will not do more of anything off road in the case of challenging terrain.











regardless you want to drop the radius arms a bit to help make up for the caster allowing full 3 degree adjustment in the high degree camber bushings.

by utilizing f150 arms and relocating the radius arm crossmember rearward you go a long way towards your cost effective goals...combined with the 3 plus degree adjustable bushing from a place like rock auto you can get pretty close...by using whooped old springs this cheap setup usually works out ok. sometimes you need to trim the coils to get back to spec though with the stock engines...i run larger engines and winches/multiple batteries so i got some more weight to keep the coils down. a stock 4 cyl reg cab usually requires you to cut the 150 coils the nice thing is you keep the base steering geometry in place and can run the 2-3 in lift and running the 150 arms gets you a little more articulation as well....the e250 arms are nice as well....all depends on what shock setup you want to run..

Do not use the f150 setup, not worth the time and money, i just got done getting rid of all the f150 springs brackets and crossmember from the last guy that did it.....plz you will be happier to sell your 2wd and look for an old lifted ranger then dgaf when it breaks...otherwise ther eis no such thing as a cheap but fun lifted 2wd ranger sry
