Hi so i have a 87 2wd ranger and i recently lifted the front end with coil springs from a f150 it gave me about 3 to 3.5 inches of lift on the front end which messed my camber up. I need to drop my radius arms to get it closer to what it should be so i was wondering if i could take the radius arm brackets off a f150 and use those to drop it some since they go lower then mine. Thanks for your help

You dont need to drop your radius arms, you need to drop your pivot brackets and THEN see if you need to drop your radius arms to correct your caster.

im kinda new to all this im learning as i go. So what are pivot arms? and can i use f150 brackets to drop it down?

No. You'll need drop pivot brackets. Do you see in the photo where one of the beams is disconnected? It bolts up to the pivot bracket. Rough Country sells drop pivot brackets as well as some other places.I'm

PS Sorry about the huge picture, it's not mine so I'm not resizing it.

O so since my truck is a 2wd the brackets i would need to drop would be the i beam pivot brackets? and this will fix my camber?

You need 2wd Ranger axle pivot lift brackets. They are not cheap and are hard to find used.

F150 coils are not the way to go about lifting a TTB Ranger, IMO

What in the name of all that is holy is this thing I circled?

o ok what is a good cheap way to do it? i only want to spend like 50 bucks

Put some washers under the stock coils and cross your fingers that your alignment cams can bring the camber back into spec.

Or leave it stock, because doing it right costs to much.

o ok one more question will leaving it like it is right now with the camber all messed up mess anything up bad other then my tires?

It will EAT tires in no time, and constantly side loading the tiny 2wd wheel bearings

+1

A good alignment will eat your 50 dollars up pretty quick.

That's the bolt for the adj. sleeve so it wont spin.

Huh..... never seen that before. Is it factory? I've owned three TTB's and never seen that.

Oh, and thanks for the explanation.

I have seen quite few 1/2 tons like that.
