I have an exhaust leak at the converter flange. I've watched youtube videos on the various solutions, such as split flanges.

The one that I'm thinking makes the most sense is the adapter since I don't know the state of the flare at the end of the pipe.

The problem I'm having is trying to figure out which size to use and the Amazon Q/A offers little insight and the Walker site is useless. I measured the pipe and it reduces from 2.5 to 2.25 just before the flange.

Does anyone know what would be the correct adapter? or even if this is the best way to go.

Any and all recommendations welcome.

Thanks.

I just witnessed a professional mechanics shop slather jb weld on a leaky flange, bolted it together, let it sit and get hard, problem solved. They said high temp silicone won't hold.
