Been busy last two days. Yesterday went to the Take-a-Part to get some WJ knuckles. There were a few there but was hoping to get a complete set( calipers, rotors, etc.) but nothing looked good. So instead I got a power steering pump bracket for the 4.0L so I can modify it to fit a Saginaw pump. Not sure if I can make it work or not.

Also, found a Sport Trac with a driveshaft in it, but once I pulled it, I noticed it was bent from the forklift.

Also yesterday, I got the argon tank filled for my brother's mig welder, and then made a cart for it.

Today I started making a new bracket for the pump, don't think I will be able to modify the stock one. So I'm not sure if I want to try and make one.

Well, the Ford pump sucks. You can't modify it for more pressure or increase the flow, bit the Saginaw you can....and this is what I have already done to my Saginaw pump sitting on the bench.


Oh, I've been tinkering around with some scrap pieces of steel laying around and I think I have made a bracket that will work. I need to go get some more o2 since its empty to finish it.

I use flux core. It welds better for me and isn't as picky when it comes to the wind and whatnot blowing the shielding gas plus is cheaper, at least for me, to weld with.
