Escorts 2nd SAS

The Aussie is an option for an 8.8. I have one! Lol.

Now Spartan doesn't offer an 8.8

Yep. He has the noslip powertrax they are made by Richmond

i'm wrong, aussie don't offer the ranger 8.8 rear, you know what that means...

I wonder if a mustang 31 spline will work? I can get one for almost nothing.

i dont see why not? if the shafts are the same length...?

Shafts don't matter, same carrier

Or do you mean a whole housing? I think it is narrow, but if not, you could use it depending on the year, 94 and up has 4.5x5 pattern

Not sure what year it is. Its my brothers friends. He is big into mustangs and has tons of parts sitting around. I will have to go see what he has.
Hmmm if i get the whole housing its already set up for 4link. :)

Just sold my 2.3 transmission from the 89 on craigslist. That was a quick $100 in cash. Now i can go shopping for a one piece driveshaft.

That's reminds me, I need to put my rims on craigslist....

I almost had an accident a few days ago. Had to slam on the brakes to keep from hitting some a**hole that didn't know how to drive. Well anyways hit them hard enough to get the fronts to lock and found out the rear ABS works. As soon as I hit the brakes, I felt and heard a bang. Checked all the bolts that hold the suspention on and everything was ok. Drove it to work the next day and it just felt wierd, something wasn't right. When I got home did some more looking and found one of the bolts that hold the upper arm to the front axle was broken. Snapped it in half and only half of the bolt was there, the other is gone. Decided to put larger bolts in so I drilled out the bushings and put 1/2" bolts in to replace the 8mm bolts that were original. Hopefully these wont break when I hit the brakes again.... cause I dont want to have to change them again when it is 100* in the garage

did you go with Grade 8 hardware?

Yep, I always use grade8. I like to use them for they are zinc plated and don't corrode as fast.

Does he have any GT mustang rear brake assemblies just sitting around?
