Escorts 2nd SAS

believe it or not, the name of that color is "cayman blue"...depending on what paint company of course, some just say cayman pearl. My '92 is the same color.

Blue? But the color is more green than blue. The pictures make it look blue.

I made everything so that i can take it off with no problem except the trackbar frame mount, it had to be welded to the frame.

I kinda always figured they named the color after the water around the cayman islands..

i can see how they got the color....
bryan i didnt want to weld anything in case it had to be removed like from the other truck to this one. But if it is coming loose on me while driving then it needs to be welded along with the bolts.

If the bolts are coming loose then put a little weld on them.

Still getting that clunking sound. It has to be something loose. Driving me nuts. I have to wait for my buddy to get back from vacation to get the link brackets welded to the frame. This didn't start untill after i pulled the axle out to modify the spring mounts....hmm

Planning a day to go to Bundy Hill. Hopefully nothing will come up again that I will not be able to make it. August 20th so this will give me about 3 weeks to get everything done

Where is Bundy Hill at and what is it like?

I wish i could go there, that place looks badass.

i wonder if it could be that your long arms arnt long enough and as the suspension cycles its pulling the axle forwards some as it goes up?

no clue really just a thought

Hmmm? Could be. Wonder if it is the front driveshaft. I am going to pull it out and see if that makes a difference since it is alittle short...

Bundy hill looks cool. KyleM was there a few weeks ago the weekend that i was wanting to go but something came up. Check out their videos on youtube.

doesnt the driveshaft have slip in it though? if it was doing like i said you'd think that it would just drop out if it over extended

I think it would but it is a jeep waggy front shaft. The slip part is a little different than a ranger shaft. I dont think it will just pull apart that easy but idk.
i dont get it, it wasn't doing it before i moved the coil springs.
