ive heard that a flywheel from a 1.9 escort will work on a 2.3 ranger? and theyre like 8-9 pounds lighter? if anyone knows anything about this could you please help me out? thanks!

common thing to do when you are racing, the guys over at 4m.net can give you all the year parts you need. The only thing is with the smaller clucth disc and such, you have to keep the burnouts to a minimium or the clucth will go quicker.Helps in pickup and stopping and not hard to do.We ran this setup in two rangers till we when with the new setup

It makes a difference on takeoffs and throttle response at speeds.Again, the problem is you shouldn't do burnouts and such because of the smaller dia clutch.

Do you know if the flywheel clutch from a 2.0 will fit a 2.3/2.5 crank? I found a good deal on a Fidanza flywheel & clutch from an escort with a 2.0
