So recently the wife and I have been putting a lot of miles on her car because of the ranger not being fixed. And today I went to start it and it stumbled almost like it wasn't getting enough fuel. And it kept doing it throughout the day. I'm pretty sure I have it narrowed down enough that its either the fuel pump or the filter itself. Now, my question is where is the damn thing? I just skimmed over the top of the motor and down the sides but I didn't see it. I know its a noob question but figured id ask.

Pump is in the tank. Pull the back seat and there's an access panel there. The filter should be on the firewall on the drivers side.
