I am not getting any CEL's or codes. I have checked and have fuel to the fuel rail and I have spark. After the truck is warm, usually when sitting still in gear though, it will just shut off and it will not restart. The engine turns, but will not turn over. Does anyone have any ideas of what could be causing this? I have been looking through the tech library and the forums here, but haven't found anything to help yet.

After it dies on you, it's still getting spark? The 1st thing that comes to mind either way is a TFI module

same thing happened to me last weekend tfI.s can be tricky when cranking check your tach if it shows under 500 while cranking its probably the tfI my spark came and went but would not start till i changed the tfI hope this helps

OK so pardon my ignorance, but what is the TFI Module? I am also interested in knowing the location of the module and any test procedures there might be. I was not able to locate a test procedure in the library. My truck has suddenly twice lost power in one week. I was in light traffic going about 40 - 45 and felt sudden lightness in the accelerator. No check engine light or other indication. Then the motor just quit. I lightly tapped the acceperator and threre was no reving or indication of power to the engine. I coasted to the shoulder of the road. No loss of fliuds on roadway. No puddle under motor. No water seen on oil stick. Radiator had moderate pressure without "blowback". I did notice what appeared to be a small column of vapor coming from near the bottom of the radiator. It did not smell smoky or otherwise like something burning or melting. Water at top of radiator was not real hot. Outside temperature was about 45- 50. This happened at about 6:30 AM. I came back at 4 PM and it started. It ran for about 10 - 15 minutes (got half way home) and then lost power again. Came back 3 hours later and it would not start. Had to tow it home. Coolant level has been checked and the reservoir is in good shape as well. When I do attempt to start the engine it seems to crank at a high RPM rate than normal. When trying to start is and I push the acceperator is seems to bog down the motor.
