Welcome Visitor! Please take a few seconds and Just looking for some opinions. I'm in the middle of a 5.0 swap using an engine out of a 2000 Mountaineer. I'm stuck on the tuning, I need to do the standard PATS removal and also automatic transmission delete. I'd also like the flexibilty of making changes in the future as needed, but this isn't as important as the initial PATS delete so the engine will simply start.
Part 1: What's the best way to do this? Send the ECU out? Or purchase hardware and do it myself?
Part 2: Where is the best place to send it, or buy the hardware?
Just looking for options at this point. Any advice is appreciated.
