Duraflex Hood - anyone have one?

What if your mother has uneven tire wear?
Too complicated for my skill set.

What if my mother owes me money and doesn’t answer the phone?
Hire a Nigerian romance scammer on fiverr to romance her and split the money he scams from her with you? Idk man, this is a Wendy's.

I like it if the inlets improve under hood temperatures, no matter what it looks like ..)
The pics I posted of my 98 with a large Boss 429 scoop and 2013/14 Mustang heat vents. underhood temps on that are ridiculously low. Especially in the winter, when the metal intake manifold remains cool to the touch unless idling for long periods. Coupled with the fact I run a 160 thermostat, my underhood temps are ridiculously low. Just going by touchy-feely though. My intake manifold used to get hot enough to fry an egg on. Now it just gets tepid. The 3 inch steel tube from the MAF to the TB, same.

Tbh, I don't like the look of it in the photos. But, mine has rust starting in the center of the hood for whatever reason, and I want the vents for underhood temperature control for the M90. So I see it as a win-win.

Saw in the install paperwork that it does require hood pins, which is super annoying to me, but whatever, I can live with it.

I’m intentionally adding hood pins to 3x Rangers, 85 C10 swb, 99 K3500 and my 69 D100. Tired of sticking hood releases or broken cable handles.

Going to very closely replicate the orange truck’s hood. But, without the 2 extra intake scoops or hood bra. Sticking with factory “ram air” on the 94 and 97 builds. Upgrading the boot from airbox to inlet “scoop”. Might upgrade the airbox to intake boots/piping, but the 94 already has the in pipe restriction deleted so… 🫣

I absolutely hate them. They look like shit no matter what you do with them, they always rust, and they require drilling stuff that's borderline impossible to repair if you want to get rid of them later. May risk it without them if there's a place to mount the factory latch.

With my luck I'll get a set that whistles at highway speed.

Between you already not liking how it looks, and not liking hood pins... I doubt I would get lucky enough for them to whistle too.

Wishing for three outta three, I almost feel greedy... almost ;missingteeth;
