hey can anyone tell me what size spline sockets I need to disconnect the rear driveshaft flange and front u-joint straps @ the transfer case? they are different sizes and I'm goin to harbor freight, they list metric and s.a.e. sizes... Thanks guys, i got no internet but will check back

Spline size?
You mean the bolts that hold the driveshaft flange to the pinion and t-case flanges?

Just use a standard 12mm socket or box end wrench (has to be a 12-point though).
Those bolts are very tight though, I don't see tools from Harbor Freight working on those.

the ones on the front diff flange on mine are 6 point for sure, i don't recall the size though... never removed the rear ones on my truck though...

Thanks guys. That was easy.
I know harbor freight sucks but
They are cheap. And so am I.
