Door window swap 90-86

Didnt really find anything on searching. Was wondering since i need new weatherstripping for the doors and windows, can i remove the vent windows on my 86 and replace them with the single solid glass n weather strip from like a 90

It is generally easier to buy a pair of non-vent window doors

The vent windows never "ventilated" all that well, they were far better at making wind noise...

On my truck the vent windows always spat rainwater at my face even when closed!

I swapped on a set of 1989-91 doors and never looked back.
