Hey, we've had a long-time issue (well, the year we've had it) with the driver's door lock on our 1999 Ford Ranger. It basically has never worked (locking/unlocking with key).
Opened the inner door panel today and found the Door Lock Operating Rod, and the little plastic thingies (that's a technical term) that connect it to the lock cylinder. At the bottom of the inner door. But the rod was totally unhooked.
Question: where does it connect? Other than the lock cylinder? Cannot find a video or diagram that hits this point.
Thank you!
