I was talking to our old friend and journalist Jim Allen. Jim has written several books on trucks, Jeeps, Scouts, offroading, and differentials. He's also written numerous magazine articles.
I had received an email from him in which he stated:
Jim is located near Lima Ohio. I think good original or restored first generation Rangers and Bronco II's are pretty hard to come by. But if you think you have a Ford Ranger or Bronco II that he would be interested in, post a photo of it here. If it looks like something he would be interested in, I'll relay the information to him.

Jim Allen said:I'm mainly living in the past and doing vintage truck stuff, or tractor stuff. In fact, if you know of someone with an early Ranger/BII (1st Gen, preferable an ’83) that’s still bone stock and in good original or restored, I’d be interested in doing a feature on it if he’s not too far away.
