I have a v6 ranger trans, 5sp manual with bw1354 (corrected model transfer case, still factory assembled. Has a drive shaft hanging off as well.

It was not mine, it shifts and spins like it should. I think that makes it a 96 and later?

It’s in my way- in Memphis TN area. I feel like $250.00 is a worthy price. No ship, pick up only. I’ll drive 20 miles to make a delivery. Wedding week for kid so very busy.
If I am way off on price, then slap me gently but I think I am on the right side of “good price”.

I’ll post pics by tomorrow.

I would trade only a couple of things.

A 98-2007 (later better) Jaguar m112 Eaton supercharger and the rotors better be really good with good bearings and no kissing. This is the SC that has two longitudinal support ribs cast into the case that run the entire length. There is another variant-

A Mercedes M45 Eaton supercharger, SLK/CLK from 2.3l, fixed pulley version with both inlet and outlet duct/castings intact. Again same condition applies and I need some boot to be added (we can negotiate).

A GenV, 04-07 GM M90, Eaton supercharger same condition as above.

A super coupe M90 Eaton supercharger, 3.8l, yadda yadda.

If you have the supercharger and are local, great. If not, I WOULD drive a fair distance if conditions/timing is good.

And of course if you read this and you might have one of the list items but don’t need the trans/xfer- reach out. I’m not broke, let’s make a deal.

1356 was full size truck stuff. Can you post some pics of what you have?

A few more pics

It’s been stored above ground, covered. It has seen some salt by the looks of the exterior. This is a Tennessee part.

If you were a bit closer I'd probably take it... 7.5 hours is a little far.

You say V6... I don't know by looking at it but is it a 4.0L bell housing?

Sounds like a great price. Wish I had the money to pick it up..

Please define which V6. The 2.9l and 4.0l have the same bellhousing bolt pattern. But the 3.0l Vulcan is different. So, people need to know that detail.

Looks like 3.0 to me based on the top 2 bolts on the bellhousing. 4.0/2.9 is straight across and closer together.

2.3/2.5 Lima

IDK about the 2.3 Duratec/Ecoboost.

Edit:

I think this picture shows Lima vs Duratec/Ecoboost bellhousing...

If anyone can confirm the last picture, might wanna ask Jim to add these to the Tech Library all together like this. Would certainly make it easier on people shopping for a transmission. I've found very few sellers know what they actually have.

I googled the sticker on the side of the trans (the 1L 54 DA) and the first 2 results were both 3.0L but I couldn't tell at all from the pix so didn't comment earlier... So consider that a very soft vote that it is for a 3.0L...

It appears to be a 3.0L...

Which takes me out.

Those rectangular holes near the top of the bellhousing seem to match up as 3.0l.

I based the displacement/engine by a partial assumption. I have a Lima bellhousing to compare and the search I came up with initially was a 1996 assembly. But I did assume a 4.0—- and from the appearance of the feedback- it is a 3.0.

I have neither nor have ever owner either to be able to compare.

I appreciate the feedback and correction on the ID.

Is there enough of a consensus that it is a 3.0 for me to adjust the title and description? I am leaning on others at this point for an absolute ID. I picked this trans up in conjunction with a 92 2.3 complete engine and a Lima 5 speed. It was a blessing and also a doorstop. I am hoping someone can use at least the transfer case.

let me know!

from the 1st pic SenorNoob posted (3.0), I have to concur it is absolutely for a 3.0L in my opinion.
