disciplerocks's B2 build thread

I would like to get better shocks, but I'm not ready to spend the money cause I would still run duals. Monroe have a lifetime warranty anyway.

damn right, you can get shit cheap as hell from parts stores and a lot of them have a lifetime warranty. most of the crap i've bought for my b2 is from autozone and has a lifetime warranty on it

my one buddy got the lifetime warrenty for cv shafts in his nissan everytime we go out he snaps one

Driver's side done. Only mounted one shock for now. It ended up sitting at a weird angle so I want to see if it will be ok. I am sure it will.

Passenger side done. I am afraid that the shocks are leaning out too far and may rub the tire when stuffed. I'll have to find something to roll up on and check it. It it does, I think there is enough room to run it on the back side of the hoop.

Looks like we are gonna have to figure out a way to correct your caster there, Dustin. Those springs are gonna turn into U-bolts:icon_surprised:

I tried mounting them on the inside of the hoop, and this is what happened.

Tech library from when I had F150 coils on there.

Posted the Explorer on CL for $200. Tired of it sitting in my way and I don't have time to steal the parts I want off it. I have plans for that spot in the driveway.

Do you guys think Monroe would cover this? Its obviously a defect in the manufacturing.

It's obviously from a faulty weld around the valving!!
