disciplerocks's B2 build thread

Just a cheap pipe bender. The sliders are tube, but the bumper is pipe. And for those of you that are going to complain about using pipe :thefinger::thefinger::thefinger: My cheap ass cant afford a tube bender.

for bumpers and sliders...there is nothing wrong with useing pipe...

keep up the good work Dustin....

I have been using pipe and tube.....buy what I can afford if it isn't structure.

Almost done. Now do I want to weld it to the frame, or make brackets?

use brackets, so when it gets tore up, or you have to remove it for some reason.

It looks good, if it was mine i would weld some plate across it so it looks clean...but thats just me.

how do you think it will hold up when you are pulling some out out of a hole?

We'll find out. I am still going to weld some angle to the back side of the hitch to strengthen it up.

ok, it looks cool, i need to make a bumper for mine still i dislike the stock bumpers alot.

I think you still need to add a lot more beef, but looks like a good start!

Need a little tweaking on the outside bends. One hangs down, the other in. Then paint and sometime down the road I'll get some plate for the top to clean it up a bit.

looks good. i still think you should plate the back to hide the nasty stuff...

I am going to paint that. Hopefully it wont look as bad.

Last day of work for 9 days :yahoo:
