I'd still say pick up some 1.5 hrew, both me and Greg have benders....

It's better to do it the hard way first time Around then redo stuff 10 times over

Yeah I still have some. My sliders are 1.5" HREW tube.

missed that part were you said you didnt have a bender. sorry. Ive seen a few guys build cages and bumpers with DOM and use a harbor freight pipe bender. they said it took a few bends to get it just right but theres didnt look to bad. the bender is like 100 bucks or less I think and for like 60 more you can make it air over hydrolic.

but if 86slow and greg have benders, Id make them make all my bends and id stand back and watch them pull on it while I drink a beer.
unless there not manual then maybe id help out.

I know Greg's is converted to air. And yeah that HF pipe bender is the one I have. It did ok for the sliders. Anything over about 40 degrees and it flattens out.

well ditch that 1in pipe crap and build it out of some 1.5 in .120 wall hrew and those things would be sick.

I wish I would have seen this before building my bumper. I wish I would have made an extra support on the top like this one. Not enough room on mine now. Oh well.

Hopefully I will get started on my front bumper tomorrow after looking at a couple houses. Still keeping an eye out for a cheap donor for my 4.0 swap.
