I think it may be the u-bolts. I thought I had bought the right ones when I put the axle in, but they ended up being the same size as the ones I had on the 7.5. I managed to squeeze them on, but no matter how hard I crank down on them, they don't seem to tighten all the way down. Anyone know where i can get 3.25" u-bolts?

Tried Autozone, O'rielly, and Rural King. Going to Pep Boys after work tomorrow.

Advance Auto Parts is close to your work on Morgan .

They don't carry hardly any suspension stuff like that.

I called Advance , they said they have 3 1/16 and 3 1/8 u-bolts I.D. with blocks .

Mine look like 2 7/8 I.D.

I was told the 7.5 is 3" and the 8.8 is 3.25"

Rural King has 3 1/8 pretty cheap. They had 3.25 ones, but they were 5/8 thread instead of 1/2.

I might be wrong but i think 3.25 is center to center , but that changes with dia. of the rod . You need some that are 2 7/8" inside to inside . Take a tape measure with you .

Just measured the spare ones I have and they are 3" I.D. and they are too small.

Found some at Pep Boys. Fit so much better, but she still vibrates. And hey is there anything going on this weekend? I will be off Sun. Possibly Sat, but not likely.

Spent some money I didn't have today, but I needed it. And I worked all last weekend and I get an extra check this month. So I should be ok.

Noticed a lifter tapping today. But only when I first start it. Gotta look into it tomorrow after work.

Found a set of 33" TSLs and a 5th swamper with different tread on rims for $500. I really want, but the rims are ugly and I would have to sell my rims and tires first.
