disciplerocks's B2 build thread

She drives! ......well at least she did.

Got it bolted up. I decided to do what this person did here http://therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46418&highlight=1210

I only got 2 holes drilled and my bit went dull. The bolts I had bought ended up being too short so I found a couple laying around. I know for a fact they weren't grade 8. So, I only had 2 weak bolts in it, but decided to take a drive anyway. Drove great for a little bit, until I snapped the bolts. Had to take the shaft back out and drive home with only fronts wheel drive.

Still don't have shocks mounted in the back. She's pretty bouncy. I can really tell a difference with the 3.73s though. So much easier to drive.

Should have some softer springs for the front coming soon. Will be much better than my F150 springs.

Drove it to work today. Got some bad vibrations once its over 50mph. Gonna have to take a look when I get home.

I like that Ex too. Clean. Those the wheels you have on your Ranger?

could be a wheel out of balance....

and he has one of those rims that has his spare mounted on it...

I felt it last night while taking on a test drive. After I got home I pulled the tires off and cranked down on the leaf spring u bolts. Some were a little loose. Thought that was it, but I guess not.

like railman said. it could be a wheel out of balance or maybe even an out of balance drive shaft.

also, you do have the front hubs unlocked....cause if ya don't the unbalanced front shaft will shake ya to death....

I'll check. I don't remember unlocking them last night, but it feels like its coming from the rear.

yea i had 5 of those wheels...and 4 went with it...
