Hello everyone, I'm fairly new to this whole world and I have a lot of learning to do, so I was hoping someone here could answer some questions I have about this issue in particular.
I have an 86' ranger 4x4 with a manual 5 spd transmission, I recently aquired a rebuilt transmission because the old one was pretty much toast, the problem that I am having here is when I got the new one it was set up with an internally mounted slave cylinder and the old one was externally mounted, I was wondering if it would just be possible to use the old bell housing with the new transmission or if I would have to find another one with the same setup as the older one.

any help at all is greatly appreciated, I have a 3 week time frame to get the darn thing all put back together and on the road. :icon_cheers:

I am not sure about changing to the externally mounted slave, but it shouldn't be hard to get the master and line for the internal slave setup and install that. Might be easier.
