That would be BOSS.

Sent from, wait how did this get here?

Was almost home, off the main road thankfully, and lost my ability to acceleate. Turns out my cable came off the bracket that hookes to the manifold. Managed to get it home thanks to the choke kicking on and making the engine idle high engone to get dowen the road. A zip tie fixed that from coming off again.

Dang, those little gremlins are just getting you every where, you might have to visit the Good Magician Humfrey, and get a spell to ride your truck of them.

sent with a burnt hand that rooted a hot manifold.

I would rather have the little things happen then a big thing.

Got the idle set but have to get the choke high idle set better. Did get the choke adjusted to open up all the way. Also the positive wire female end it came with decided it didn't want to fit the male end on the choke so i cut it off and put a new one on, that couldn't be helping stuff either.

Going to have to do something with my frame trackbar mount, way to much slop in it. I'm throwing around ideas in my head but have one that should work. Hopefully be able to do that tomorrow.

Goodies!!!

New trackbar and the steering setup from Ben. Tomorrows job is to improve my frame mount for the TRE fitting and put the draglink on.

Confirmed I'm not going to Illinois so the plans are still good for the truck. :yahoo:

Hey, that steering looks very familiar.
:D

And hopefully after three years? of having the truck SASed, my steering wheel will finally be the way it should.

What's up with your heater hoses? Why do they go in the fire wall in that location? Mine go in on the left of the heater/AC box.

My truck never had a/c on it from the factory. It's the original heater box to my truck.

Oh ok. Makes sense.

my '87 2.0 w/ A/C heater hoses are routed the same way (???) sucks that the intake from the cowl goes back out thru the firewall under the hood, then back into the cab thru the blower motor/ac condenser, finally to the HVAC brain, but the one thing Ford did get right on the Gen-Is is cable operated HVAC controls. :D
