Ok so I've been running 1/2" slip on aluminum wheels spacers for a few weeks now, I have lug centric rims so it was nt a problem centering the rim but my question is am I in danger of messing up my truck with these things installed on my truck?

As long as you have sufficient thread engagement on the lug nuts and they're torqued good, there shouldn't be an issue in normal use.
I wouldn't run such spacers if you push your truck hard offroad though.

Spacers do add stress on the wheel bearings too, although ½" shouldn't really matter much unless you're already running wide rims.
