I'm looking for advice to do a mild Dana 30 swap into a 93 Ranger 2wd. My goal is to make the truck 4wd on 31" tires. What leaf springs would work best for this? I already have all the driveline parts needed for the swap.

Quite a few people have used the explorer leaf spring for front leaf setups with good results...

I used the Rancho 44044 leaf springs on mine, but they might give u more lift that u are looking for.

I am running YJ Springs with a helper leaf.

I would guess something like these mounted spring under. I ran stock yjs with an extra leaf sprung over and cleared 35s. Also depends on how you mount them to the frame and which end the shackle is on.

I would like to put the shackle in the rear for the better ride quality. So if I bought a set of stock YJ leafs and added a leaf I would probably be alright? There are a ton of these out there for sale cheap.

Running a rear shackle might be a little hard to get the correct pinion angle and caster without building a front drop mount like I had to with mine. With doing that you will be adding to the lift.
