My FIRST EVER POST -

Hey everyone, I’m working on my 1986 Ford Ranger XL 4x4 with the Dana 28 front axle.

I’m looking for a good front spindle. I believe the Ford part number is E3TZ-3105-B, but mainly I just need the correct Dana 28 4x4 spindle for an early Ranger/Bronco II.

I’m trying to find one with good threads and smooth bearing/seal surfaces. The ones I’ve found so far are either rusty or beat up.

If anyone has one for sale, knows where to find one, or can confirm what years/models interchange, I’d appreciate the help.

Seems that I saw new spindles listed over at the Bronco Graveyard at one point... might be worth looking there if you haven't already.

I just replaced one on my 86 last summer. Got it from jeffs bronco graveyard...brand new. It was kinda pricy but worth it...118iirc

I wished Jeffs had them in stock. Unfortunately, they don't right now. I banged my current ones up pretty bad with a hammer trying to break the rust bond, which worked and I got them off the knuckle, although now they can't be used. I didn't think I'd have this hard of a time finding new splindles :/

Thats what i did too.

You can try www.car-part.com to search junkyards....unfourtantly though those are going to be hit and miss for quality
 
I have not tried car-part. Maybe I'll have some luck there. Thank you!
